By using the adjustable elastic on the inside of the sleeves, our flex size jacket can expand by up to 1.5 sizes from the size indicated on the label. Buy your child's current size and adjust the sleeve length as your child grows. When it time for a younger child to inherit the garment, just adjust the size down. NOTE: The jacket comes fully expanded, which means it has to be shortened to its indicated size in order to be able to adjust the sleeve length as desired. The original size of the jacket is indicated between the red markings on the buttonhole elastic. Please note that the jacket has two adjustments in each sleeve to ensure the best possible fit. The shell jacket is soft and sleek, and made of wind and waterproof fabric. The jacket is made of a durable fabric with good breathability. The jacket has a comfy mesh lining and a detachable hood that is fastened with snaps. The hood is also adjustable and has elastic edging. The jacket is reinforced at the back and cuffs, and the elastic cuffs are adjustable with Velcro straps. The pre-shaped sleeves allow for a perfect fit. The taped seams make the jacket completely waterproof, and the storm flap on the outside and inside of the zipper provides extra protection against cold air and wet weather. The storm flap is also lined with soft fleece on the upper part. Layer 3 - outer layer that retains warmth and protects against all weather conditions.
