The overall has extra-reinforced, water-resistant fabric on the knees and seat, and the seat is also lined with soft fleece for extra warmth when the child is sitting down. The adjustable hood is detachable and fastened with snaps; it also has elastic edging for the perfect fit. The zipper has a chin guard that is gentle on the chin and cheeks. It also has double storm flaps for extra protection against the cold and snow, and a zipper along the leg to facilitate dressing. In addition, the coverall has elastic wrist and ankle cuffs, pre-shaped knees and sleeves, and an adjustable waist for the perfect fit. The replaceable elastic stirrups help to keep the pants in place. The lining of this garment has been dyed using the dope dying process, which is an efficient and more environmentally friendly production technique. This technique can save up to 50% water and reduce chemical usage by up to 85%. CO2 emissions are reduced by up to 60%.
